Based on the DC comic "Green Lantern," drama series "Lanterns" follows new recruit John Stewart and "Lantern" legend Hal Jordan. These two intergalactic cops are drawn into a dark, Earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland. In association with Warner Bros. Television and DC Studios, the HBO series provides a fresh live action take on the popular universe and its characters. Emmy nominee Chris Mundy serves as showrunner and executive producer for this original detective story.

They killed hal in the episode 1 wtf and they made John Stewart a theft barely see any constructs, Dc now destroying my favourite dc character from my childhood

This was great show and Kyle chandler is great as Hal Jordan. The dynamic between him and Aaron Pierre drove the show. Their chemistry was great and can’t wait to see John Stewart in future DC projects!

I recently finished watching HBO's Lanterns and really enjoyed it. It is definitely not your typical superhero show. Unlike many Marvel productions, DC focuses more on drama and complex character feelings than constant action, blending the lines between heroes and villains. If you enjoy escaping into fantasy with a compelling story, I highly recommend checking it out!

Great show, i loved how the characters grow on you and make you feel more conected with the Lanterns universe, kinda sad we didnt get any big action scenes but its understandable given the tone of the whole series, Kyle Chandler does a great job as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre (an actor who i did not know that much) exceeded my expectations and instantly gave me the feel of "This is real life John Stewart"
