Arguably the best horror show runner in the game, Flannigan unfortunately misses the mark here. While updating the plot to include elements of modern bullying and social media, softening the edges around Carrie’s mother and absolving her of any real agency pertaining to the final rampage diminish what initially looked like another triumph in Flannigan’s television career.

Great reimagining. I was a fan of the original, my wife has never heard of Carrie & we both couldn’t get enough. Was a great story - dark gives you some laughter & empathy as well. Music also has some music choices we enjoyed.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fresh Carrie adaptation. The acting is phenomenal by incredibly relatable actors. I hope they continue with a second season, I am curious which direction they will take it. I’m hooked, give me more please!
