We learn more about Wolverine's origins from the Weapon X program. We get a very tense and riveting home invasion scene when the feds break into the Xavier Mansion to arrest everyone without warning. r. Rogue is still here, but we don't get to see much of her powers being used, which is a shame. We get a good coming out moment with Iceman and his family. It's a decent, but debatably awkward metaphor. It's fun watching Magneto team up with the X-men. The climax is great, with an exciting infiltration of the Project X Facility by the X-men. We learn more about how Stryker experimented with Logan. Jean Grey's sacrifice was well done, with subtle foreshadowing of the Phoenix saga. The White House X-Men confrontation was inspiring. It's a great improvement from the first film's and easily the best of the original X-Men trilogy. See more Read all reviews
