As a whole, ‘What We Hide' has the feeling of an old after-school special, a melodramatic lesson about a topical issue. However, simply bringing up the spectre of the opioid crisis isn’t enough.

A story that needs to be told. Glad I had a chance to see it in a movie theater. Mckenna Grace was excellent and the her sister as well. Worth seeing!

After 30+ days...The mom's body would have started turning into soup in the summer in that box. The boyfriend part was so ridiculous... The house was also very clean, cozy, kept up...? Who's paying for the water and electricity? How did she get hundreds of dollars to buy back the locket, a new camera, etc.? She pawned the items and somehow got enough $ to get them back? Did the friend give her a lot of money or? It was such obvious church propaganda 😆 The writing, acting, story was absolutely BAD.

It was an ok movie. I like the thought and intention more than the actual execution. But it was good enough to finish. I don't like the ending of not know what really happened to the girls but I guess it's up to the viewers to decide or make our own inference. Ok acting and ok movie overall. Wouldn't watch again
