Cathrine A @CanadianCat 6d It’s OK, but the thing that really made it almost unbearable to watch is the character Taylor. He’s so pathetic and weak and I don’t really think his acting is so great because he forces that pathetic face ….this sad sack face all the time…. so the movie is OK. Rest of the acting is really good but the weak acting of character Taylor trying to look as homely as he can just doesn’t cut it for me. There was a lot of hoopla about this movie. Strong portrayal of protagonist's anxiety about surviving the madness in his situation long enough to get his early release. Sharply handled ending. I'd watch it again. Wouldn't bother reccomed this to anyone if im honest. If you want a gripping thriller steer clear of this film. See more Jeremiah C @jwormizzle2005 Jul 30 Wow…enough emotional roller coasters to, in theory, make you feel every high and low in the movie. No pun intended. It genuinely had me nervous, suspenseful, and scared for every next scene. Give all credit where is due, because this surpassed my expectations, while allowing me to immerse and feel genuine fear and discomfort throughout! Amazing movie for a crazy ride through the rough life behind walls; different shapes and forms emphasized in this movie as well. Great job by the actors as well, underrated part of the movie. Has moments of grit and intensity and while Blyth does an admirable job with a complex character, Jonsson is basically asked to sleepwalk his way through this with the most utterly unsympathetic character on screen in ages. With our loved ones keeping us going in our darkest of times, getting back to them when so much time has transpired in between can seem insurmountable.
