Perry’s performance is a spectacular piece of high-wire burlesque. There’s an extraordinary spontaneity to it. Go to Full Review

While expansively anarchic to a fault, the movie’s anger, and its pride, is convincing. Go to Full Review

Somehow, the "quality" of Tyler Perry's storytelling feels even worse when a positive, meaningful message is attempted, this time through the prism of Madea-universe regular Joe, a crass, nonsensical conduit for Black History 101... Go to Full Review

Despite a more overt message than we're used to from Mr. Perry, Joe’s College Road Trip feels stuck in the same tired rhythms — recycling broad caricature, nonsensical plotting, and humor that rarely rises above offensive. Go to Full Review

Can someone tell Tyler Perry that he doesn't have to keep doing this. He has to be doing well, right? Like, he has plenty of money already, doesn't he? Go to Full Review

Shonta' H @Shonta1205 9h TOO EXPLICIT ‼️TOO MUCH CURSING ‼️ DEROGATORY LANGUAGE THROUGHOUT THE MOVIE ‼️ TYLER PERRY'S MOVIES WERE SPIRITUAL BUT FUNNY...IT STILL HAD A MESSAGE TO IT...BUT THIS TRASH IS DISGUSTING..LOW RATED AND A SHAME BEFORE GOD ‼️‼️‼️HE IS TRULY SHOWING HIS TRUE COLORS..THE PERSON HE REALLY IS See more Obeseus J @Obeseus 19h I turned it off after 20 mins I'm Puerto Rican and even I got tired of the white people are bad and this kid needs to know about clear people... since when is it ok to be openly prejudice... if the shoe was on the other foot there would be tears flooding the streets. Love madea movies but this was just an excuse to be vulgar and prejudice. See more Mason D @Moviestar10 20h We need more comedy movies like this I love Tyler Perry's movies they are golden this was the first time in a long time that I've watched a movie and watched the whole thing if I could give it 10 Stars I would See more Ranndy B @RCBeRightThere 21h I Loved It. It was in the Vein of the College Sex Crazed Cult Classic Films like "Old School","Accepted", "American Pie", "Porkies" and "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle". This is Tyler's Spin on a Classic white college comedy trope. He did his MF thing. Thanks Tyler See more Les N @Vegas628 1d Better than I thought See more L M @Lmiller053 1d This movie was not one of the best movies I have watched of Tyler Perry's collection. It was definitely raunchy with some uncomfortable scenes in a whorehouse. In my opinion, the porn was unnecessary as we know what happens in a place like that. His normal church going audience will not like this movie. It has some laughs but the excessive cussing wears on you by the middle of the movie. I"ll treat this one like most of his movies and not watch it again. One time is enough. See more Read all reviews
