It's also very well-acted. The only slight let-down was the ending, where it seemed like not all of the loose ends were intentional. Great visuals, great acting, fun plot and characters, and certainly my favorite depiction of "realistic trolls". Great movie, highly recommended. This is one of the many cases where a foreign film gets amazing ratings- but just isn't good compared to American Standards. (think what you will of that sentiment) It's slow, choppy, uses the first person camera- which has been done so many times now as to have killed it from being able to be used again, and the way the characters react and interact is forced and nonsensical. I WILL say, if you have a very young child= this might actually be a good movie as a form of escapism for them, but it's not going to appeal to very many adults. See more Read all reviews
