The acting might be shoddy, the plot nonsense and the dialogue clunky, but the fighting is exquisitely done. Inventive, athletic, fun, stylish and tight, it's everything the rest of the film isn't.

Mainly succeeds in being unintentionally hilarious - which oddly adds entertainment value the creators couldn't have planned for.

More than a decade later, no action series has quite managed to capture its blend of silky smooth action thanks to Statham's turn as the debonair hero for the new generation.

Really human trafficking…? I started watching this until he received the second package, which was a woman being trafficked. Instantly turned me off…. Then he delivers the package which is a woman. Then he’s moving drugs. With all the trafficking in the world today this movie is something I don’t recommend.

Not as good as I remember it. I loved this movie when it came out, but it's definitely dated in regards to the fight scenes. Especially when you compare to more modern movies like the Wick franchise. Still cool to see an early Statham movie, but it's more comical than I remember....

This is the film which catapulted Jason Statham into stardom and it is not for nothing. The car chases in the beginning are very smooth and the fight scenes are really inventive, particularly the bizarre oil and pedals fight. Just a plain and simple action movie.

The Transporter is a fast-paced action thriller that knows exactly what it wants to be. Jason Statham delivers a cool, confident performance, and the action sequences are sharp, entertaining, and well-choreographed. While the story is fairly simple and relies on familiar action-movie tropes, the film’s energy and stylish execution make it an enjoyable ride from start to finish.
