Director Yeon Sang-ho makes smart use of the cramped quarters, and while it's true that his zombies' abilities tend to vary according to the requirements of the moment, it's easy to overlook amid the onslaught of action and emotion. Go to Full Review

Randy N 4h This was my first experience with Korean zombie flicks and I found it extremely impressive. This is a 100% must-see kind of movie. See more Jesus 6h Love this movie. One of my all time favorite zombie movies. Glad I got to watch it on the big screen See more Josh 18h I’m not usually a big genre-film person, but Train to Busan really worked for me. There are some genuinely memorable images, and I love how the train setting keeps everything constantly moving. The different stations also give the story a really natural sense of structure and momentum. What I appreciated most, though, is how much human drama the film brings into the horror. It makes the tension feel more emotional, not just physical. Even characters who seem pretty one-note at first are given small moments that make them feel more human. Overall, it’s fast, tense, surprisingly moving, and much more emotionally involving than I expected See more Cara 2d Bruh, I cried over a zombie movie See more Alfie S @RT14751870 12h One of my favourite Korean movies See more Trae G @MovieManTrae 22h Got a chance to see Train to Busan in theaters for its 10th Anniversary and director Yeon Sang-ho delivers an incredible, brutal and heartbreaking action zombie horror film! The acting is this film is incredible from the whole cast with Gong Yoo and Ma Dong-seok in particular being the real standouts of the film with Gong Yoo putting on an acting masterclass throughout. The story is actually way better than it has any right being it does have your typical zombie movie tropes but it is so much more than that it’s brutal, surprisingly heartbreaking, a lot of depth to it and quite emotional. The action and stunt work is breathtaking beautiful and some of the better work in both fronts of the genre! It’s an easy recommendation from me and a must see for all! See more Read all reviews
