More specifics about the dogs' training, care and the costs involved would have been a plus. Otherwise, it's a stirring portrait of war, duty, sacrifice and the love of a good dog. Go to Full Review Ken Jaworowski New York Times Oct 31, 2019
Though "To Be of Service" skips over specifics, the big picture is clear, and its overriding point well made: These dogs are saving the lives of those who've sacrificed so much. Go to Full Review Lynnette Nicholas Common Sense Media Nov 7, 2019

georgan g @RT98616417 Mar 29, 2021 Great documentary on animal assisted therapy for wounded veterans. See more Nov 14, 2019 As a veteran this was a difficult, but powerful film. It mostly consists of frank discussions of trauma, struggles to reintegrate, shame and depression. It rings true to my own experiences and I have personal familiarity with similar veteran service dog projects that are as successful as those featured. I hope it will help inform those who provide resources and those who would benefit. See more Read all reviews
