When I saw this film prefaced by a trailer for the far glossier-looking Black Panther, it slightly felt, once Thor: Ragnarok started, that we were being palmed off with an hors d'oeuvre for the next, bigger thing down the line.

Beautifully filmed with serious kinetic energy by director Taika Waititi, with a crackling script, Thor: Ragnarok is a heap of fun. Cue "Immigrant Song!"

Tessa's got the comedic timing to match Taika Waititi's Thor humor, and the physicality to lead the movie's pack of superheroes. She's not trying to outdo the boys; she's just trying to sip her drink and mind her own business.

The movie single-handedly changed the status quo of a character more than any other Marvel movie. ... It should be commended for taking risks where other superhero films haven't.

I enjoyed seeing this version of Thor a lot more now than when I saw it originally. Amazing how you pick up things that you didn't see before. This was even better than Thor :Love and Thunder. Picked up the funnier lines and giggled even though I've seen this one before. Loved Chris' haircut and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

Was this movie epic, or what? These MCU movies keep rocking it, and this one was just as entertaining as the others. It leaves you feeling charged up by the end and inspired to go run a marathon (ok, maybe that's pushing it).
