The Purge: Anarchy is good because it finally takes the concept into the streets. Seeing what Purge night looks like outside makes the idea more exciting, dangerous, and visually interesting than the first film’s home-invasion approach. Frank Grillo gives the movie a strong action-thriller lead as Leo Barnes. He is angry, capable, and driven by revenge, but he becomes more protective as the story develops. That gives the movie a clearer emotional center than expected. The sequel also leans harder into class warfare, government manipulation, and the Purge as a weapon against the poor. The politics are blunt, but the message is stronger this time. The survival-group structure gives the movie movement and variety, even if the running, hiding, capture, and escape cycle repeats. It is not subtle, but Anarchy is tense, bigger, and more effective than the first film.

Surprisingly enjoyable, usually franchise sequels are not very noteworthy but this had some fun action packed twists and turns, if you're a fan of this genre it's definitely worth watching!
