The only way to truly understand what Christopher Nolan has managed to create is to sit in a theater seat and experience firsthand a work of art that is, quite simply, a masterful display of cinema.

Nolan's exploration of THE ODYSSEY is much more interested in questioning the concept of glory than it is displaying it. While that may feel counter to the epic, I feel it's a worthy mission in the modern age of repeated horrors.

Great to have a big screen version of an essential story. Nolan does it again. All good. This was my second viewing and I brought my kids. The R rating on this movie is mostly for language and violence. Most of the violence is not shown on camera.

The movie was great, unfortunately, my wife and I had an unfortunate situation ruin our overall experience. It began when we arrived to find someone occupying our seats. I politely informed them of the fact and a female in the group became very upset and made sarcastic remarks pas she moved. 2 of the 3 in group remained adjacent to us, but the displaced female moved to different seats throughout the showing, repeatedly came back shaking her finger at us. After the third time, i left the theater to complain , only to find she had gone out to complain to manager that we were kicking the back of her seat, which was completely false, as she never sat in front of us. The manager explained that neither of us could be moved due to unavailability of seats. Very frustrating and as stated, ruined entire experience for us.

A fantastically paced adventure mixing action with moderate levels of drama, not laboring too much on either. A couple cheesy moments, but much more well done than I expected. The three hours breezed by. The scale of this movie cannot be understated. The stage continuously changes, grows and expands past all expectations. I really had a great time.
