One or two could act - obviously Agutter was fine - but others, including the child leads, needed better coaching. The special effects were not strong but were passable for an Indy flick. I watched it for Anthony Head (who was great in it), but heaven he couldn't save this terrible movie. It's a little like how I imagine the movie "The Dark Crystal" would have been, had it been directed by a fetus with a blind person as head of special effects. All that being said, though, I.
