Joy L @Joylviewer Mar 19, 2026 This is a must see film. The film didn’t strike me as political or as advocating for anything. Admittedly I was glued to it even though I couldn’t get the subtitles to work. It didn’t need subtitles to communicate the story. This is a very moving story that personalizes the experiences of many who make this journey. I am very familiar with the landscape and culture of the area featured. It was made while there were still safe houses and volunteers who could help Assylum seekers. See more Mary d @mderosas Feb 17, 2026 This film is a must see by most Americans. Its gritty reality is leavened by the humanity of Carlos and the people who assist border crossers in the American Southwest. It depicts sparely but powerfully the desperate choices immigrants face trying to care for family in 2 separate countries, one of which doesn't recognize their humanity and the other the home of beloved family members. To understand why people come here and what they endure and sacrifice to do so is the first step to solving our so-called immigration problem. This film depicts the deep humanity on all sides of the issue. Beautiful, moving, powerful. See more William G @Papasote62 Jan 14, 2026 This film is so timely and heartbreaking. If by the end of this film you don’t have the urge to call someone and tell them you love them, then your heart is made of ICE.
