This was one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. The acting was dry and lifeless and the plot was all over the place. Went to Reddit right after and had a better time reading the comments about this movie than I did watching it. If you are looking for some background noise and something to absolutely waste your time, this is the movie for you. Would not recommend if you are looking to keep your sanity intact :)

The writers meeting went something like this... "Let's make the first half pretty good and then see how quickly we can destroy the movie after that.... how many plot holes can we come up with before the end?... one every 30 seconds?... no... how about we shoot for one every 10 seconds... is that even possible?" It is apparently possible. Good job.

If you’re looking for something to waste time, don't watch this—it’s an even bigger waste than that. None of the plot makes any sense. If you're expecting a solid survival movie, it plays out more like a childish fantasy with no logic or realistic reasoning whatsoever.

Starts out at a good pace. But falls off very quickly. You’re telling me that this family waited 5 freaking years to fight the monsters keeping them locked in the house?! This movie could’ve only been 30-45 minutes if they realized that sooner. The biggest thing on how this movie will be remembered is the dad shooting the dog. This movie honestly feels like a college kid’s final project for the year. Just because of how much it’s lacking. I shouldn’t even be surprised. It’s Netflix. They’re always gonna make bad movies. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING THIS MOVIE!
