What's not to like when there are weapons with such names as malevolent wood, siege tower and wolf teeth striker? So I guess French copied the Trebuchet and other siege works from the Tang's too? Lots of fictional liberties. Anyways cool piece of fictional entertainment, based on a single line in the Encyclopedia Britannica, that said that the Tang invasion in that place was disastrous. See more 04/12/2021 The Great Battle (2018 Korean movie streaming currently on Hi-Yah) is a gem of a picture got a very limited US release (at the same time as Venom). It is hard to find , but worth tracking down. This is the Korean version of 300 mixed with Braveheart. What it may lack in historical accuracy it makes up for in style and jaw dropping battles many of which rival the Two Towers. 4 stars out of 5 (some of it is a little over the top) but I can see why many of my film friends give it the full 5 stars.
