Two brothers receive a cryptic video message inspiring them to revisit the UFO death cult they escaped a decade earlier. Hoping to find the closure that they couldn't find as young men, they're forced to reconsider the cult's beliefs when confronted with unexplainable phenomena surrounding the camp. As the members prepare for the coming of a mysterious event, the brothers race to unravel the seemingly impossible truth before their lives become permanently entangled with the cult.

Unfortunately the filmmakers introduce a sci-fi element in the second half that deflates much of the interpersonal tension and shifts the focus from the subtleties of mind control to the vagaries of time and space.

This movie would have made a better Twilight Zone episode than movie. The concept is fine, the twist is, though fairly predictable, a reasonable explanation of events. But it is way longer than it needs to be to get where it is going. Can't recommend it. There are similar stories out there that were better told.

“The Endless” Well this was a different type of film altogether. A film about family, cult, and the unexplainable. I found this film to be very entertaining not really predictable one that will grab your attention but it starts off kind of slow. So I don’t believe this film was for everyone but for me it was good and I liked it. Not a great film but a good film.

I watched this because of the RT score of 91% disregarding the 3.6/5 score it had on the streaming service. I was so peed off at the end of this piece of garbage movie, i joined RT to submit a review. What a waste of time. Are bots submitting reviews now?

It was just entertaining enough to keep me watching but I didn’t find it highly engaging or anything like that. The best actor was the little angry guy that didn’t talk a first and then spoke a lot outside of his shed. Some of this story barely added up, but without giving anything away, the way it played out wasn’t really plausible in my opinion. I guess a good job for a low budget but I wouldn’t recommend spending time on it.
