HUMBERTO (Gonzalo de Castro), a seductive man and a swindler in equal measure, leads a quiet life in Madrid after having served time for an old scam that cost him his relationship with his son JORGE (Juan Grandinetti) with whom he has not spoken for a long time. Now Jorge is an honest man who will be forced to ask his father for help when he is the victim of a robbery at the jewelry store where he works. The Curse of the Handsome Man is an elegant and mischievous scam comedy where nobody is what they seem.

We are facing an entertaining proposal. The main problem will be how corseted your characters are during the footage. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review Juan Pando Fotogramas Jul 20, 2020

It addresses profound matters, like parenthood, friendship, ambition, and loyalty, with humor. But it excessively delays the plot and lacks the necessary nerve. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review Sergio F. Pinilla Cinemanía (Spain) Jul 7, 2020
