Andrew R @HorrorMovieLover458 3 days ago I like low budget horror, when they at least try. This, however, was not that. Paper thin plot and characters that feel more out of a family drama about mental illness and inheritance than an actual horror movie. First kill (not scare as those don't happen) 55 minutes in, and after a lot of long chatting scenes. Bit of a spoiler, the mom tries to force a shopkeeper to sell her a doll that's not for sale. Then straight up says, I want to buy the doll (700 dollars upcharged for), "so I can remember why I got rid of it". That is the logic of the entire movie in a nutshell. See more Liam F @Siennaspiro67 Apr 30, 2026 honestly not a bad film, would've been better if they casted Sienna Spiro. but all in all it lacked some thematic elements necessary See more Karim B @KM-cobra02 Dec 15, 2025 I watched this movie at nighttime and wasn't as impressed as I expected. The movie's length is good for a horror film; however, the good jump scares were scarce, and there were too many boring exchanges between the characters that reduced the heightened thrill of the movie. With the creepy Humpty, I expected many jumpscare scenes with slow camera views to increase the suspense, like in the Separation movie released in 2021, which I highly recommend for thriller fans, but it is not adapted for individuals who are easily scared during bedtime or for those suffering from physical or mental deficiencies.
