The Bradys of the popular '70s sitcom get thrust into the '90s, with a whole new set of problems. The family's house is in danger of being taken away by developer Larry Dittmeyer if the ever-positive brood can't come up with $20,000. Parents Mike and Carol initially don't fret, until Mike has difficulty getting any of his architectural designs sold. Fearing the worst, the six Brady kids decide to enter a talent contest and raise the money themselves.

The only attempt at stretching the wooden characters involves middle daughter Jan being teed off at perfect older sister Marcia and throwing a few fits. We smile the first time.

This is enormous fun, one of the best TV adaptations to date, and guaranteed to provoke a nostalgic misty eye and mischevious grin in anybody who's ever owned a crimplene tank top.

A fun trip through the 70s with The Brady Bunch. Lots of great cameos throughout add to the fun of this fish-out-of-water take on the Bradys living in 1990s America with their trademark 1970s ideals. Probably one of the most successful TV Shows-To-Movies, it still could have been a little better. Lots of in-jokes help. The mocking tone isn't overdone and is reminiscent of The Real Live Brady Bunch stage show from the late 1980s/early 1990s. Definitely worth a watch for all Brady fans. Christine Taylor is spot-on as Marcia. Directed by the great Betty Thomas.
