There was potential for a suspenseful thriller, but the writing repeatedly makes choices that weaken the story. It misses. Brittany Dory, who plays the main character, is my biggest frustration. Her character should have been written as much stronger and more empowering, especially considering everything she goes through. Instead, she is portrayed as weak and fragile. I wanted to see her fight back, take control, and become someone the audience could root for. The twist surrounding the killer was incredibly predictable, leaving almost no suspense. The lack of police involvement was another strange choice. Considering everything happening, you would expect a stronger investigation, yet the police feel almost forgotten until the end. With a stronger lead, better writing, a less predictable mystery, and more police involvement, this could have been a better thriller. See more Read all reviews
