Prehistoric family the Croods live in a particularly dangerous moment in time. Patriarch Grug (Nicolas Cage), his mate, Ugga (Catherine Keener), teenage daughter Eep (Emma Stone), son Thunk (Clark Duke) and feisty Gran (Cloris Leachman) gather food by day and huddle together in a cave at night. When a more evolved caveman named Guy (Ryan Reynolds) arrives on the scene, Grug is distrustful, but it soon becomes apparent that Guy is correct about the impending destruction of their world.

"The Croods" provides an extremely hopeful message of surviving into the future. Little ones won't get it intellectually, but will on a visceral level, while being thoroughly entertained by all manner of fun prehistoric flora and fauna.

Uma aventura pré-histórica colorida, barulhenta e muito divertida, ideal para entreter. Destaca-se pelo visual criativo e pelo ritmo frenético, mas perde pontos devido a um roteiro previsível e cheio de clichés familiares que impedem o filme de ser memorável.

This is a great movie from Dreamworks animation with Chris sanders who directed lilo and stitch and how to train your dragon and Kirk Demicco who directed space chimps worked together to create this movie it has a great story and one of the best Stone Age movies starring Nicolas Cage, Emma stone, Ryan Reynolds, Katherine keener, Clark duke, and Cloris leachman I highly recommend watching this movie if you’re a fan of the prehistoric times when cavemen started to exist
