david C @Coffey4You Sep 26, 2026 So I had never seen a movie with Tennille Read as an actress. So I thought the plot was good and all the charters seem to fit in to the plot. Tennille is absolutely adorable and I think she should be one of the best female main actors in the future. Ill see her other work as well and will comment. Thanks Tennille, your special and I hope you succeed in your path to be a award winning actress in the future. Oh, if you want to see something cute, look in a mirror. David See more Georgia C @Georgi460 Jan 3, 2026 The writing is absolutely abysmal. It felt like someone bought the plot before actually reading the script because the plot would be pretty good with better writing. The lines were juvenile, cheesy and just plain basic. You could tell that the main female actress was trying so hard to make it work but it felt like no one else actually cared about making this movie. Wardrobe and makeup people—You have a supposed grieving mother who dresses in cute outfits and has her hair and makeup done perfectly each day? Seriously, no. The main male actor was the absolute worst actor I’ve ever seen! He had no connection with his supposed wife, he did not emote any emotion, not even inflection in his voice like when he thought his wife was cheating on him and he didn’t even shed a tear when his daughter was rescued ?! Bizarre. Towards the end it was really rushed too. Was this movie someone’s tax write off ? I’m seriously side eying the writer. See more Laurie E. @Laurielye Nov 2, 2025 Keeps you guessing right to the end. Good movie. See more Joseph A @RT48867710 Nov 1, 2025 I got frustrated with her constant deep sighs, heavy mouth breathing, and gasps. I lost count after 30. Yes, I actually counted. The parts I do catch it didn’t feel real. See more Sybil P @RT56484230 Oct 29, 2025 Lordy, where to start?? Did you ever sit and watch a movie for the entire duration of the movie waiting for it to start? Well, that’s what you have with taken in plain sight. The acting writing and directing our all equally abominable. Not sure if the actors in this movie ever considered taking acting lessons, but they are sorely needed across the board. The writing is horrendous and the directing is pedantic. Don’t waste your time on this movie. There’s plenty of other things on Netflix to watch. I am absolutely flummoxed as to how this movie ever made it to the Netflix platform. See more Read all reviews
