Compared to the first sequel that felt like it was both pandering and riding too hard on the goodwill of the first, this third entry simply wants to exist as a standalone comedy that happens to feature this cast returning to some of their old characters.

It was actually funnier than I thought. Very funny writing and the performance surprised me, the cast looks good for their age. Don't watch if you're in Texas because the weed jokes will not land. Underrated film.
