TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Sep 13, 2026 Super High is honestly an awful film. This bland, over-the-top superhero movie just doesn’t connect on any superhero level. It feels like a complete struggle from beginning to end, and the movie never really resonates because it is so ridiculous that you end up feeling lost in translation with the entire film. If you’re going to make a superhero movie, you have to make sure the superpowers and action scenes actually feel important. This movie throws you off immediately with a breakup that leads to the superhero guy crying, and it’s like, ok, this is trying to go down a Deadpool road with a budget the size of a bag of quarters. The entire thing feels like it is losing the essence of what a superhero film should be. After all the ridiculous antics, there just isn’t enough substance to keep you invested. I kept waiting for the movie to find its direction, but instead, it continued down a road that never really worked for me. I simply can’t recommend it. See more Read all reviews
