I would have preferred a much more "ancestral" lovecraftian entity, or scheming cultist instead of the rather plain one they did who switches from scared to edgy and has just basic human desires. Also way too much sexuality for no reason, and the sexual attraction itself isn't really explained. The soundtrack sounds like something out of goosebumps. How in God’s name this movie got over 80% here on RT is beyond me. It’s like a b list romantic horror written for 50+ year old divorcees.
