Suitable Flesh gets repetitive fast. It lacks an emotional core. By the third act, rather than wondering how things would get resolved, I simply found myself eager for an end to the villain's uninspired rants.

standard bodysnatcher movie. Enjoyable for a single viewing. I would have preferred a much more "ancestral" lovecraftian entity, or scheming cultist instead of the rather plain one they did who switches from scared to edgy and has just basic human desires. Also way too much sexuality for no reason, and the sexual attraction itself isn't really explained. Good acting though, very gory at times and some funny moments

The acting is awful. The plot is ridiculous. The soundtrack sounds like something out of goosebumps. How in God’s name this movie got over 80% here on RT is beyond me. It’s like a b list romantic horror written for 50+ year old divorcees. The one thing this move does have going for it is that it’s hilarious—even if only because of how bad the writing is.

While the film is about 20 minutes too long, and there's an over-reliance on sex appeal, Suitable Flesh has some truly unique and awesome ideas/performances that make this much more than just another possession film.
