Pint-sized kid spy Juni Cortez (Daryl Sabara) faces his biggest challenge yet when he confronts the Toymaker (Sylvester Stallone), a ruthless villain sentenced to virtual prison by the Organization of Super Spies. The Toymaker has captured Juni's sister, OSS agent Carmen (Alexa Vega), and is holding her inside a virtual reality environment called "Game Over." Now Juni must use his cunning to advance to the nearly impossible "Level Five" in order to rescue his sister.

Strewn with adolescent puns and nerdish video-game humor, and the best 3D effects ever hurled at an audience (still fun even in tradition 2D), you hardly even notice that all pretense at story has been tossed off the screen with everything else.

There's a lot of hand-to-hand action, just like a video game, that gets harder as you move up a level. Also, like a video game, there is no story. You have no idea who is fighting whom. Or why.

This is easily the worst one of the trilogy, but it's my favorite because I watched it the most as a kid and I love the video game theme of the movie.

I watched this recently with the early 2000's 3D where you need the cellophane glasses and I feel like it added to the charm, it also has the best CGI of the original trilogy which if you're familiar with spy kids isn't saying much.
