It's the charisma of the child stars which carries the picture. And the infectious energy of the creator, whose frothy franchise has now run its course. Go to Full Review

This featured particularly unsightly 3-D effects at the multiplex, so it’s a minor mercy to catch it in 2-D at home. Go to Full Review

Strewn with adolescent puns and nerdish video-game humor, and the best 3D effects ever hurled at an audience (still fun even in tradition 2D), you hardly even notice that all pretense at story has been tossed off the screen with everything else. Go to Full Review

There's a lot of hand-to-hand action, just like a video game, that gets harder as you move up a level. Also, like a video game, there is no story. You have no idea who is fighting whom. Or why. Go to Full Review

Many characters from the first two films return, including Fegan Floop (Alan Cumming) and Machete (Danny Trejo). 3-D: It was the first major studio film released in the US to use 3-D in a significant way See more Julian C @juliancooper_12 6d This is easily the worst one of the trilogy, but it's my favorite because I watched it the most as a kid and I love the video game theme of the movie. See more Ben N @RT04327495 Mar 15 kids will love it but adults not so much. but you have to see that this movie was made for kids not for a competitor for a oscar See more Brady R. @BRICE24 Jan 21 Had to turn off after 15 mins See more Oaklee D @ODie63 Nov 30 I watched this recently with the early 2000's 3D where you need the cellophane glasses and I feel like it added to the charm, it also has the best CGI of the original trilogy which if you're familiar with spy kids isn't saying much.
