The movie's rough-and-tumble look works in its favor, and the occasional doldrums allow for reflection on the obstacles, military and otherwise, the women face daily. Go to Full Review Diana Clarke Village Voice Feb 7, 2017
Although Speed Sisters is not comprehensive, it's vital. Go to Full Review Mark Kermode Observer (UK) Mar 27, 2016

There's some nail-biting internecine tension as a climactic race result goes down to the wire, but the overall tone is celebratory and affirmative. Go to Full Review Marya E. Gates Cool People Have Feelings, Too. (Substack) Jan 30, 2026
While the film can be at times a little too breezy, it is nevertheless and interesting peek into a little seen slice of life in Palestine. Go to Full Review Matthew Anderson CineVue Apr 9, 2019

Mar 26, 2018 Surprisingly enough this movie made me become interested in racing, it deserves all of its stars (And even more!) See more Jul 18, 2017 This movie is a must see. The film is smart, provactive and inspiring. Speed Sisters gives us a glimpse of what it is like to be a woman on the speed sister team, but the story is so much more. You will be inspired, you will have a favorite sister, but hopefully you will watch the film and come away with a deeper appreciation of the culture, if you are like me, uncover a belief that you might not know you had. See more Jul 18, 2017 a film about humans. unexpected humans, but at the same time exactly what you expect humans to be. See more Jul 18, 2017 Not being a fan of racing, I wasn't sure what to expect on my way into the theatre. What I got was a compelling, entertaining, and thought-provoking look at the lives of these kick-ass women. I thoroughly enjoyed it! See more Jul 18, 2017 Authentic, unvarnished view of life between the world of occupation and competing in a sport dominated by men and all of the gender stereotypes that come with it. An honest view into lives of strength, courage and a determination to not only live but do so at full speed. See more Jul 18, 2017 An amazing insider's view to a world full of surprises and high energy. If you think you have everything figured out about Israel/Palestine but haven't seen this film, you're missing out. Fun, frustrating, and insightful. See more Read all reviews
