Swackhammer (Danny DeVito), an evil alien theme park owner, needs a new attraction at Moron Mountain. When his gang, the Nerdlucks, heads to Earth to kidnap Bugs Bunny (Billy West) and the Looney Tunes, Bugs challenges them to a basketball game to determine their fate. The aliens agree, but they steal the powers of NBA basketball players, including Larry Bird (Larry Bird) and Charles Barkley (Charles Barkley) -- so Bugs gets some help from superstar Michael Jordan (Michael Jordan).

While it's no slam dunk, Space Jam's silly, Looney Toons-laden slapstick and vivid animation will leave younger viewers satisfied -- though accompanying adults may be more annoyed than entertained.

Since my childhood days, I have wishing to see this movie at a theater, but today was my lucky day to have my wish come true. Boy, it was nice to see a movie from the late 1990's in this decade, especially with a combination of live-action and animation put together.

Space Jam (1996) is enjoyably Looney! Michael Jordan is a retired basketball player, who sucks at baseball, and gets recruited by the Looney Tunes to play basketball in their world to save them from slavery. There was some top notch humor here especially from Bill Murray. And I laughed hard at the scene of Warner Bros. kissing their own ass (Daffy said they were owned by Warner Bros. and then kissed his butt). If anyone says that Space Jam is a masterpiece, they're lying to you and themselves. Space Jam is pretty bad, but a good bad. The animation is well done and it works well in a live-action setting. There is however some badly aged cgi. I never notced that the jerseys have the TuneSqaud logo blurred out on all the Looney Tunes. And Danny Devito as Swackhammer? Crazy I never noticed that either. Can we talk about how Michael's kids acted totally normal when the Tunes broke into their house? Like wtf 😂 Overall, Space Jam is dumb, fun, looney and worth watching.
