Selling a tragic-to-triumphant story arc repurposed from any number of similar crowd-pleasers, Lellouche is blessed with seasoned actors who know how to charm. Go to Full Review Paul Byrnes Sydney Morning Herald Jul 16, 2019

The film boldly goes where no French film has gone before and with enough humour and heart to defuse such ungenerous thinking. Yes, it's a bit wet, but what else could it be? Go to Full Review Guy Lodge Variety May 23, 2018
As harmless as it is silly, but dampened by idle gags, empty characterization and an inordinate two-hour runtime. Go to Full Review Gisela Savdie El Heraldo Sep 19, 2020
