At its best, it’s quite funny. At its worst, it’s mildly disgusting, with Moss suffering its most egregious indignities, but Minghella does recover his wit in time to bring Zoe’s role in the mess to a fitting finish. Go to Full Review

If only Shell was as outrageously fun as that all makes it sound, but there’s something oddly flat about it, actor-turned-director Max Minghella struggling to bring the luridly indulgent pleasures that something as silly as this so obviously needs. Go to Full Review

Dennis B @TheBeaz2000 2d Know going in that this is one of those movies with a great premise, and it is actually interesting until the writer and/or director either got lazy or ran out of money. Moss's The Invisible Man had such a great ending, but this one is just terrible. Hudson is still eye candy, and I wish the second half of the movie was as good as the first. See more Adrienne H @Aya123179 4d Worst movie I have ever watched! See more Tori B @Filmfanhead 4d I don't know how anyone thought this was funny. Had a great premise and feel apart after the half-way point. A shame. I really wanted it to be good. See more Mary Ann S @maryannsaunders Feb 6 Ridiculous plot. Mediocre acting. See more Nancy B @Nanceee Feb 1 The movie was good until Chloe turned into a LOBSTER !!!! A bit far fetched lol See more Bree @Braynes Jan 30 A horrible remake of "the substance."
