"Scare Package," a Shutter original that bills itself as a high-brow horror/comedy, is tediously boring and agonizingly unfunny. If you enjoy unrelenting bloodletting, blood-gushing, and blood-slinging, you might like the "ABCs of Death"-like high body count and guttural humor.

This nearly works... there is definitely potential here. Honestly, the horror elements are hit and miss and add comparatively little, and the jokes don't really land but some of the cast and characters are solid. Would have worked better just focused on the three dudes goofing around in the video store (ala Clerks), talking about horror movies.
