Not only a brilliant and flawless cast, an amazing photography work and one of the finest, dense writings of these last months if not years. Rosebush pruning is a vivid critic of flawlessness and perversion of the upper class that has the power to feel reasonable but strangely uneasy, to smell like rotten food, an object of desire that is no longer desired, one of the finest way of portraying the appalling nature of millionaires. A staging that feels like an artificial, custom-made telenovela made of disgusting people, what could be better and more powerful to better tell the disgusting truth? One can complain about the movie "trying so hard to shock you" on rotten tomatoes and the score will lower. That’s how this shit hole is. To me, Rosebush Pruning is an absolute must-watch like a few out there. A subject that respects itself and that remains itself to the end. See more Gabor Z @RT25520507 Sep 5, 2026 Shocking, well edited, well shot. Nailed us to the sofa. Surprising, disgusting and funny at the same time. Perfect cast. See more MB C @MB.Cinema Aug 28, 2026 *Rosebush Pruning* is a dark, twisted family drama that turns wealth, privilege, and control into a disturbing psychological nightmare. Its stylish visuals and unsettling atmosphere perfectly contrast the Taylor family’s luxurious but deeply dysfunctional world. The strongest element is Edward, whose attempt to "free" his brother gradually becomes another form of obsession and control. However, the film sometimes relies too heavily on shock and provocation instead of fully exploring its intriguing ideas. Bold, strange, and darkly satirical, it may not always work, but its twisted family dynamics leave a lasting impression. Están de moda estas películas pretenciosas e innecesarias. ¿por qué no gastan todo ese dinero en contar cosas un poco más edificantes? See more Read all reviews
