After salesmen Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (Seann William Scott) trash a company truck, the court gives them a choice: jail time or community service in a mentoring program. Thinking to take the easy way out, the two overgrown adolescents find themselves paired with a teenager (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), who is experiencing the pangs of first love, and a foul-mouthed fifth-grader (Bobb'e J. Thompson), who needs an attitude adjustment.

It has a couple of genuinely funny moments and a cast that does what it can, yet most of the humor feels forced and repetitive. The film leans too heavily on noise instead of wit, stretching jokes long after they’ve worn out their welcome. Its attempt to balance crude comedy with a feel-good message ends up diluting both sides. Not a complete disaster, but a clear missed opportunity that delivers far fewer laughs than it promises.
