There's an enjoyable roughness to the picture, with the production working to deliver big monster mayhem on a small budget, pulling together all the resources it can find to sell large-scale disaster. Go to Full Review

Derek R @RT31933007 5h An absolute masterpiece, very few films can match the practical effects even in the year of our lord 2026. If it’s still 2026. To that end, the dialogue in some places is a little cheesy but overall it’s very good, and the general and Connie’s chemistry seemed incredibly authentic. This might be one of the greatest monster movies to date, at least top 5. A must see!! See more Ilyas Z @Zellai Jan 3 I Like The Goofy Kaiju That Terrorizes The City But DAMN This Movie Is Cheap And Bad! If Ishiro Honda Were To See This Movie, He'd Be SO Disappointed In This Movie And Would Question His Career, And Life Itself! Other Than That, The Movie Is Bad And Bland. But Hey! At least It's Better Than All Monsters Attack!/Godzilla's Revenge! Overall 4/10 See more Will G @Kingofthepixies 07/26/2025 Best film I ever saw. Excuse the short review. It's hard to type in a straitjacket. See more Kenny A. @nerdsman567 07/12/2025 Aside from the goofy puppet that (poorly) brings the title monster to life, "Reptilicus (1961)" is a completely forgetful and embarrassingly awful monster movie. The only version of this movie worth watching is the "Mystery Science Theater" version on Netflix. See more Ryann G @RT59152957 03/26/2025 Reptilicus aka Photoshopsarus is so dumb.🤖🐒💀👹👺🤡💩 Everything it touches turns photoshopped like the acid, and the guy it eats. That part was so bad that it's good! 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 It's so bad. And he's ugly.👹👺 See more Liam T @RT18523467 02/23/2025 This movie is great if you like old and poorly made monster movies. The Acting is funny and the dialogue is unintentionally hilarious. This movie doesn't have a philosophical plot that makes you think. It doesn't have great characters with very note worthy scenes. BUT THIS MOVIE IS FUN AND HILARIOUS. It has a monster that was memorable and could spew green slime. The slime and effects were really bad (Even for its time) but I think that it makes it fun and good. It isn't trying to be serious it is trying to be entertaining though and I like it. See more Read all reviews
