Peter W @RT12077588 4 days ago Reflection in a Dead Diamond is packed with a psychedelic visual style, a tight pace, an impressive and breathtaking sound stage, and most importantly, a mystery you will not be able to predict, no matter how smart you think you are when it comes to film. To confirm your suspicions, yes, the James Bond vibes are all present in this film, and I loved seeing the fresh ideas around costume, gadgets, and most importantly, a long-term nemesis, along with the many other classic film nods throughout. This was a wild ride, and by the end, I was keen to go through it all again with a guaranteed new perspective compared to the first watch. Much like looking at a high-quality diamond, something about this film is fantastic and breathtaking, no matter the angle. See more MB C @MB.Cinema Feb 10, 2026 Reflection in a Dead Diamond is a bold, hypnotic blend of espionage, sci-fi, and existential mystery.....Following an aging spy haunted by fractured memories, the film blurs past and present until reality itself becomes suspect.....Its fragmented, non-linear structure mirrors a mind losing faith in its own recollections.....Rather than answers, the screenplay offers layers of doubt, turning a spy thriller into a meditation on identity and performance.....Stylish cinematography and aggressive editing create a sensory experience that feels lived more than understood.....Challenging and divisive, the film rewards those willing to surrender clarity for atmosphere and meaning..... Imagine if David Lynch and Satoshi Kon had collaborated to make a feature-length, live-action Archer finale in a grindhouse style. Yes, it’s as mad as it sounds, yet incredibly beautiful at the same time. So much more I could say, but wouldn’t want to risk spoiling it. Just go and watch it now.
