The film’s messaging is extremely important and never gets lost in the narrative.

The film, though well-intentioned, is predictable in its treatment, focusing on public prejudices and gender politics, which often lead to biases and attitudes.

The execution isn't very good. But the dialogues and the messaging are spot-on.

Within the first 10 minutes of watching this movie I had to turn it off because it's disgraceful that the lead actress drop so many F bombs. Indian cinema has become so putrid that as a non-Indian the purism of Indian cinema that was once enjoyed is long gone, replaced by a cancerous Western outtake that a few degenerates find amusing as they forgot their culture.

'Pooja Meri Jaan' is a timely and thought-provoking courtroom drama that stumbles a bit in execution but succeeds in sparking an important conversation about rejection, entitlement, and consent.
