Is anything as improbable as a "feel-good" movie that actually leaves us feeling terrific? How about two of them in the same series?

The Paddington films preach a message of acceptance that's no less straightforward than that of The Shape of Water, encouraging viewers to share in the hero's tolerant worldview.

Will future film schools dissect the simple pleasures of Paddington 2? I’m guessing not, but then again, a lot of filmmakers could use a lesson or two in making a movie that is both perfectly executed and perfectly fun.

There isnt a thing I didnt love about this beautifully crafted Paddington Bear story. The story line had so many positive messages about kindness and acceptance, so sweetly conveyed by Paddington without being sappy. It was visually gorgeous and presented such nostalgic London scenes. Loved the prison setting and the integration of Paddington as one of the convicts! The last scene with Hugh Grant was perfect. Just loved this movie !!
