I loooved the gender swap with the original, the chemistry between the two leads and how it mirrored the original without being redundant. It wasn’t slapstick or laugh-out-loud funny - sure - but it was such a charming story with lots of humor. Such an uplifting and pleasant story with one of my favorite end credits scenes in a film - ever. It’s hilarious. Adorable film overall. How can people not love it? La verdad esperaba una mejor comedia en una película de ambos y dirigida por Rob Greenberg, el guionista que está detrás de How I met your mother, pero no resultó así. A mi parecer, se debe a que intentaron mezclar comedia estadounidense y mexicana, lo que es tan eficiente como mezclar agua y aceite. Si se hubieran comprometido con uno solo habría sido buena sin dudas, pero deja algo que desear. Aún así, la disfruté. La historia es cómica y entretenida pues, cuenta con buen elenco, incluída Mariana Treviño. Lo único malo es que también está Omar Chaparro. Lo bueno es que no sale mucho. See more Joanna T @aerialgirly92 Mar 11 Really entertaining & heartwarming movie about a snobby rich guy who is mean towards an employee who happens to be a single mother with 3 kids who took a job cleaning his yacht. He gets drunk, falls overboard, and when he washes up onto shore, he loses his memory. His sister pretends she doesn't know him when she gets to the hospital, and the single mother ends up picking him up & pretends to be his wife. She takes him home & uses him for chores. He grows to like the family & acts as the kids' dad. He gets a hardworking job in construction. The single mother falls in love with him. The rich fam eventually comes to claim him once he was spotted still alive but he decides to stick with the poor family bc it was rich & fulfilling even if he didn't have money. In the end, it turns out that the yacht is still in his name & that he can resell it for millions. I guess in real life, the single mother would've gotten arrested. See more Read all reviews
