"Outcome" is a dark comedy that centers on Reef Hawk (Keanu Reeves), a beloved Hollywood star who must dive into the depths of his hidden demons after he is extorted with a mysterious video that's sure to shatter his image and end his career. With the support of his lifelong besties Kyle (Cameron Diaz) and Xander (Matt Bomer), along with his crisis lawyer Ira (Jonah Hill), Reef embarks on a soul-searching journey to make amends with anyone he could have possibly wronged in hopes of identifying the blackmailer. Co-writer and director Hill brings a unique lens to Reef's wild but spiritually cleansing, nostalgic and eye-opening trip down memory lane, where confronting his past might be the only way to rescue his future.

It’s hard to imagine this mumbling, shambling man holding multiplex masses in his thrall. As such, he’s a poignant void, but a void nonetheless, and even at a slim 84 minutes, Hill’s doleful film can’t keep us interested in his plight.

I thought it was an entertaining watch that touched base on the narcissism, fame exposure, and shark vibes of Hollywood. There were clever, funny scenes and some very touching ones on how easy it is to be consumed with yourself and lose absolute touch with reality. If you’re true to yourself and treat others well you will be welcomed with open arms. I found the movie to be enjoyable and I finished it with a few memorable and touching quotes and I thought the acting was excellent.

Okay, like a lot of people here, I literally made an account just to say this. I envy those who tapped out within the first 20 minutes. You saved yourselves. What a ride… and not in a good way. I gave it 1 star, and honestly, that’s just out of sheer respect for Keanu. But seriously, Keanu (and Martin S)… why? 😅 I’m not even a harsh movie critic. I usually go easy on films and just enjoy the ride. But this? What was it even trying to be? The plot felt like it was going somewhere… and then just didn’t. And the acting? It’s not that it was terrible. It’s that it barely felt like acting was required at all. The material just didn’t give anyone much to work with. I really wanted to like it. I tried.huhu But yeah, this one just missed the mark.

Made it until 22 minutes on and off, eating my aunty's breyani, getting snacks, blowing out my candles, tried watching but zoned out for a full 5 minutes. WHO WROTE THIS SCRIPT? The introduction of the child singing, dancing – too long! The actors weren't acting. ANYONE can act in this movie. Literally anyone. Can I get paid for leaving this review and for wasting 22 minutes, giving it the benefit of the doubt? LOL! Time to watch Jon Wick or maybe Charles Angels. Or maybe 22 Jump Street.
