Joe Young (Trey Parker) is a Mormon, serving his mission in Los Angeles and needing money to marry his girlfriend, Lisa (Robyn Lynne). This leads him to a porn film set, where filmmaker Maxxx Orbison (Michael Dean Jacobs) casts unwitting Joe as a masked superhero named Orgazmo. The film becomes a surprise megahit, even in the mainstream, but Joe soon discovers Maxxx is a criminal with sinister plans. So Joe and sidekick Ben (Dian Bachar) become real superheroes to combat the evil director.

The Troma Group knows how to make movies that are so bad they are good (which is the point). Cannibal The Musical and Orgasmo are great examples of this. The effort into these movies are incredible.

Orgazmo is a movie that is dumb as hell, but its juvenile antics still crack me up every single time. Created by the minds behind South Park, this absurd satire about a Mormon missionary who accidentally becomes an adult film superhero is packed with crude, low budget charm and completely ridiculous running jokes. It doesn't pretend to be high art, instead, it leans entirely into its own silliness with a cheerful, energetic vibe that makes the potty humor surprisingly endearing. If you are in the mood for something completely thoughtless and hilarious, it is a cult classic that absolutely delivers on stupid laughs.

This movie was so stupid lmao, what was Trey Parker doing. It seemed like he was at least having fun in Baseketball, here it honestly seems like a chore. Same way I felt watching this garbage lol, could have a lot better. We also see his fascination with the Mormons here too, how interesting. I won’t lie the movie did make me laugh once or twice but that’s a pretty low joke to laugh ratio. I think this is one of those bad movies that deserves a remake, because this idea could be absolutely hilarious. This time though Trey should be solely in the directors chair, because his acting felt kind of stale. 2/5 stars.
