As a piece of entertainment, On Sacred Ground sags and drags; as a work of art intended to increase understanding of a complex situation, it's got some lift. The filmmaking is underwhelming, and McKinney's PTSD storyline distracts from the core plot.

This is a very well made movie based on a true story. It's a sad story but the performances were great. I felt it was to short of a movie and I wanted more. Tim Treakle

The pipeline's story is an interesting one - but the way this drama played out felt heavy handed on one side of the issue. Mapother's PTSD seemed to be manipulated to fit the ending in mind.
