Bisquiteen T Feb 10 Bleh these setups are exhausting. The "cool girl" who wants to bang her bestie but is like "why are you so psychotic, his actual girlfriend," and the "I'm so naive and innocent ermagerd but also totally jealous because I see exactly what's happening" girlfriend, and the "teehee I'm pretending I don't see this slap fight over me" guy. Then some crazy-ass gets involved where they have to spill all their secrets, but you already know them at that point, so...why did I watch all 101 minutes and 22 seconds? That's the real horror/mystery here. I do like the neighbor guy who says, "I guess you could call that ironic," when he's describing a situation that turned out exactly as one would expect. So, no, I guess you COULDN'T call that ironic, bud. Only likable character, though. The main dude is a wretched actor. But really, why was all this buildup necessary anyway? Just have them show up at the house and play their dumbass game. Half an hour of bs eradicated. See more Poison R 09/11/2024 Nothing in this movie makes sense... See more dan b 02/20/2021 it was slow moving and not even realistic, no way this happened in real life, very dumb See more Tony E 10/03/2020 The decision-making was unrealistic, the villain was not particularly intimidating, the good guys were not particularly likable, the acting was horrible, and the ending twist did not fully make sense. Since this was a true story, I would suggest they did a poor job of putting movie together See more 12/05/2018 Acting was pretty good. Story line was OK. See more 09/19/2018 Both an entertaining thriller and a mediation on the role that fate plays in all our lives, ODDS ARE... is one of those unforgettable movies that will stay with you far after the credits role. Ron Eldard is, as usual, spectacular and the cat-and-mouse dynamic that he engages in with his younger cast mates is alternately gripping and tender. A must-see! See more Read all reviews
