Jake Gyllenhaal plays the titular nightcrawler before he was recruited by professor X, and he definitely has some trauma here that the professor will have to help him through later. The nightcrawler likes to take videos of crime scenes and send them in to news stations, he is the original paparazzi!! Things don't always go so well for him however...
