Mr. Peabody (Ty Burrell), the most accomplished canine in the world, and his boy, Sherman (Max Charles), use a time machine called the Wabac to embark on outrageous adventures. However, when Sherman takes the Wabac without permission to impress his friend Penny (Ariel Winter), he accidentally rips a hole in the universe and causes havoc with world history. It's up to Mr. Peabody to mount a rescue and prevent the past, present and future from being permanently altered.

Loaded with references from literature, history and popular culture. I can't imagine a Minion punning, "Marie Antoinette could have kept her head if she had issued an edict to distribute bread to the poor. But you can't have your cake and edict too."

Um exercício de viagem no tempo muito dinâmico e visualmente sofisticado que morre na praia devido a um roteiro previsível. Embora as piadas históricas e a dinâmica da dupla principal sejam excelentes, o suspense do terceiro ato gasta as suas ideias num ritmo barulhento e caótico, tornando a experiência mediana.

This film, is amazing however the jokes felt heavily forced and exaggerated. It definitely touched heavy topics especially for a kids movie especially the representation of child protective services. I heavily liked this film however it did not fully satisfy my expectations.
