When, by executive decree, all the canine pets of Megasaki City are exiled to a vast garbage-dump called Trash Island, 12-year-old Atari sets off alone in a miniature Junior-Turbo Prop and flies across the river in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.

Bom filme. Adoro stop-motions e isso, combinando isso com o estilo singular do Wes Anderson, entrega-nos um filme deveras interessante. Além disso, ter a voz do Bryan Cranston é a cereja no topo do bolo. (avaliação: 8/10)

This movie is beautiful and that is a fact. Following up the hit Fantastic Mr. Fox, Isle of Dogs proves itself to not only be a strong continuation from its based off of style but adds a refreshing fun story. Speaking of the story it is fun, engaging, slow but in a good way, and best of all funny. It's dark enough to feel meaningful but light enough to consistently keep you laughing. The only problem is the ending which feels at times out of place and a bit dragged, but the overall story makes up for this for the most part.
