You’ll love the random violent acts and unbelievably predictable accidents thrown in the mix just to annoy those left watching. The preview was edited well because it convinced my wife and I that we had to watch so my half star is for the preview. This movie is painfully bad. Okay, gotta say up front that there’s a brutal scene here that I was not prepared for. For the rest of it, though... Evan Rachel Wood is absolutely killing it, as always. I didn’t really have much sense what the movie was going to be about going in. Major credit to the cinematographer on this one... Station Eleven! Max Richter’s score adds a really nice layer. I don't totally get the ending though, a bit confusing. Felt kind of like they didn’t know how to wrap it up. The motivation of the characters was unclear.
