Critics Consensus

Smart, sophisticated, and subversive, I'm Your Woman is brought to life by a powerful performance from Rachel Brosnahan -- and finds director Julia Hart in near-total command of her craft.

Julia Hart's I'm Your Woman is a refreshing take on the throwback '70s crime picture, as seen through new perspectives.

I'm Your Woman becomes more rewarding the more you sit with it; even its nihilistic first half and occasional half-baked dialogue will likely be easier on the second watch, once you know where it all leads.

We get a performance by Rachel Brosnahan, but we don't get the strongest writing.

Brosnahan’s performance is one of the stronger lead performances I’ve seen this year, and I’m Your Woman succeeds because of it. The script is one of the year’s strongest, too.

I'm Your Woman (2020) It's not a bad movie, it has several technical qualities, however I found it quite slow and boring at various points. He was pleased to learn that Prime Video has produced good films in the past.

A bit slow to get going, but the movie makes up for it down the track with great sets and good action sequences. Some elements off the story I found hard to buy.

Didn't feel like the 70s all that much; but all the actors did a great job, especially Rachel Brosnahan. If the sound of a baby crying annoys you, this may not be your favorite movie. That kid cried A LOT.
