John K @johnanon42 Aug 7 I probably wouldn't have given this a 5 star review back when I first watched it shortly after it's release, but compared to the movies that Hollywood is giving us today - which are meant not to entertain, but to instruct the audience on the finer points of critical race theory via subtle propaganda - this is definitely a 5 star banger in comparison! If Hollywood made a movie like this today, I would actually go back to movie theaters much more regularly again. And it wasn’t an immediate 5 star, it was pretty decent to get an idea. Wasn’t a fan of how it ended, and Sly should’ve had more speaking parts in the flick but not sure if that’s on purpose and just the character…. I guess I’ll find that out as I go thru the series. Overall good effects for the period, and a good play by the sheriff… played a gods “villain”.
